Hi, my name is Lynn Lloyd, the owner of Stamp Shack.  Just a little about me for those of you who haven't been in . . .

I've been stamping forever -- love creating cards and my real love is teaching others the art!  I opened my first stamp store, Stamping Wild, in 1996 in my home thinking this would be a great way to share my "love" with  friends.  We quickly outgrew that little bedroom and moved into our first storefront, then the second little bigger store and then the third "big" Stamping Wild.  During that time we also opened a second location in Miami.  I truly loved what I did and loved everyone I came in contact with -- can you tell I'm a people person!!!

Anyway, over the years it took over my life -- 24/7 just about.  So, in 2004 we sold Stamping Wild to a wonderful couple, Jean and Rob,  who would make it their family business.  I continued to teach my classes at Stamping Wild.  Through uncontrollable circumstances Stamping Wild closed and that created a big void in the stamping community.  We all missed each other!!!

So, once again I opened in my home "just to teach classes" to a few friends/customers I would run into at Michaels, etc.  Anyway, pretty soon the tables didn't come down in my house and we were walking around them  stepping on Wondertape!  I opened the "Shack" in my detached garage - cars lined the street a few days a week to the neighbors dismay.

So . . .You guessed it -- I opened a storefront -- Stamp Shack -- at 1013 W. State Road 84.  The location was the best for everyone.  We are right at the intersection of I-95 and 595.  You can come at us from every direction.

I love having the store again and reacquainting with everyone -- those are friendships we have had forever and been through ups and downs together.  My priorities in life are God first, my husband second and then everything else.  Believe me I don't always live that but that is my strive.  So, please know that I am closed on Sunday.  I have to try to have some balance in my life to make this work.  I don't want it to become like it has in the past where I have no time for my family.  Please help me remember that and live it!!!

I'm looking forward to seeing old faces as well as meeting many new faces!   Stop in to learn or just to ask a question.  That is what we are here for.
